Honor has introduced its first smartphone since splitting from Huawei.
Processor Design & Display.
The Honor V40 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 1000 Plus processor.
Equipped with flagship features, the phone comes with a 6.72-inch OLED display with elbow edges, while the Punch Hole design has a dual selfie camera setup.
The display has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 300 Hz sampling rate.
Battery & Storage.
According to the company, the 4000 mAh battery comes with 66-watt fast charging support, which can fully charge the battery in 35 minutes. The wireless charging speed is also 50-watts which can charge 50% of the battery in 35 minutes.
The phone comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage.
The company has integrated the Android 10 operating system in the phone with its Magic UI 4.0. However, the company did not say anything about the presence of Google services on the phone.
This is because the phone was first introduced in China, where phones are available without Google services.
Cameras.
There is a setup of 3 cameras on the back of the phone in which the main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel RYYB sensor. Besides, the 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixel camera are provided for close-up shots. It has a camera setup with laser autofocus and an LED flash. There are 16 megapixels and color spectrum sensors on the front.
Price & Availability.
The phone is available in Three attractive colors Night Black, Titanium Silver, Rose Gold. The Honor V40 model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be available at 3,599 Chinese Yuan (more than 89 thousand Pakistani rupees). In contrast, the 256 GB storage version will be available at 3,999 Chinese Yuan (more than 99 thousand Pakistani rupees).
