Good news for mobile phone enthusiasts, especially BlackBerry users.

In the age of smartphones, BlackBerry has introduced 5G smartphones with keyboards after a while. BlackBerry has not launched a smartphone since 2018 but has announced a comeback this year with a new 5G smartphone.

Details regarding the new BlackBerry smartphone features have not been shared, but it will feature a keyboard with a touchpad.

Onward Mobility has announced that it will sell designs to BlackBerry-branded phones. At the same time, the company said that a new 5G BlackBerry phone with classic hardware keyboards will be available in the market this year.

The CEO Peter Franklin confirmed that the company will take care of BlackBerry phones' design to make it easier for consumers to recognize the phones, working on 5G networks equipped with the classic BlackBerry hardware keyboard.

The company has been working with Foxconn to develop onward mobility models. Initially, the device will be launched in the US and Europe, after which it will be extended to the Asian market. There is currently no release date for the phone, but it will be available in 2021.

The main focus of the new BlackBerry phones, on the other hand, is security. BlackBerry had earlier terminated its contract with TCL last year.

BlackBerry's last smartphone was introduced in 2018 under the name of Key2, which was given an Android operating system and physical keyboard.
