Telegram, a mobile app that replaces WhatsApp, has also introduced a new update feature that has also removed the fear of losing WhatsApp messages.
According to the details, a new update has come out from Telegram in which Android and iPhone users will be given this option through which they can transfer their chats from WhatsApp, Line, and other messaging apps to Telegram. This update provides more options for deleting chats and the option to delete the group from all members, controlling the volume of voice messages, rewinding, forwarding, and controlling music. Like options are also part of this update.
It should be noted that Telegram's messaging app became very popular when WhatsApp introduced a controversial privacy policy. WhatsApp had announced in its policy that it would give Facebook access to user's data.
As soon as this policy was introduced, many users turned to alternative applications. Telegram and Signal are the applications on which millions of new users have created accounts over a period of time, but consumers complained that they have been in use for years. There are essential and valuable messages on WhatsApp that users certainly do not want to lose.
Keeping this need in mind, today, Telegram has released this update which will definitely help the users to leave WhatsApp.
Here's the way to switch from WhatsApp to Telegram.
To transfer a chat from WhatsApp, open the relevant chat, then tap Chat. Now attend the Contact Info menu and choose the Export Chat option.
Now select Telegram Chat to import messages. After selecting this feature, you'll see the choice Media and Output Media option. Now select the choice you would like.
Select Telegram from the Sharing menu and choose the contact to whom you would like to transfer the imported chat. You'll now see the Import option for chat transfer, so select "Import".
